RICHARDS-architectural was founded in Rochester in 2017 and has now moved to Chartham, just outside Canterbury. Our work has mostly been in the Rochester area up to now, but we are willing to travel almost anywhere for an awesome project. Contact us to learn what we’re able to accomplish.

What we do
We help with the survey, design, plans and applications for house extensions, loft conversions, small developer led residential projects, internal refurbishments and interior design.
We are able to draw on 40 years of experience, on projects in housing, retail, stadia, hotels, offices and transport infrastructure.
The old days of the drawing board are sadly long gone; today we make 3d computer models of properties, which (a) helps identify and avoid clashes and problems, which are less easily spotted in flat plan and elevation drawings and (b) enables the end user to understand the spaces more easily.
The plans and elevations required by the Statutory Authorities are then projected from the 3d model.
